Refill the engine oil yourself
Make sure that the oil is always topped up to the recommended level!If there is not enough oil to lubricate the engine's moving parts, they wear out faster and can overheat.

- Park your car on level ground.
- Make sure the oil you add is the same as what is already in the engine. This refers to both the viscosity and the brand.
- Turn off the engine and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the oil filler cap. It usually has the word “Oil” written on it, a viscosity indication, or an oil can icon.
- Put a funnel in the oil filler neck.
- Fill in 100 ml of engine oil and wait 10 minutes. This is how long it takes for the oil to collect in the oil pan.
- Check the engine oil level with the dipstick.
- Add more oil. Keep adding 100 ml of oil and checking the level until the recommended level is reached.
- Screw the oil filler cap back on firmly up. Don't add too much oil. Too much engine oil can lead to damaged seals, carbon deposits on the engine walls and catalytic converter failure.

Caution: Avoid getting oil on the drive belts and their pulleys!
