CRDe, mEagle, m2DiCR, mFalcon, mHawk and mPower: Mahindra diesel engines with Common Rail direct injection system

CRDe, mEagle, m2DiCR, mFalcon, mHawk and mPower are mainly turbo diesel engines equipped with the common rail fuel injection system. Various Mahindra models are equipped with it. The majority of these are in-house developments by the Indian manufacturer Mahindra & mahindra ltd Some of them were built together with Groupe PSA (now Stellantis).

Characteristics of CRDe, mEagle, m2DiCR, mFalcon, mHawk and mPower engines

The engines can be equipped with a cast iron or aluminum engine block. To reduce weight, the intake manifold is sometimes made of plastic. Some versions are equipped with a twin turbo or variable geometry turbo instead of a conventional turbo.
